Halloween has arrived in Pet City! 🎃 There's a spooky new side of town to explore, a Haunted House to step inside and ghouls on the loose. Knock on doors for treats, catch ghouls, carve pumpkins and fish up something creepy, all for a brand-new currency: Skulls. Here's everything that's new.

🏚️ The Haunted House
Open Fast Travel and choose Halloween to visit the spookiest corner of Pet City. The graveyard gates creak open as you walk up, pumpkins glow along the paths, and the Haunted House is waiting for you.
Step inside for its own spooky music, and take a seat with your pets on the old sofas. Some of the doors are still chained shut... we wonder what's behind them? 👀
🥚 The Pumpkin Egg
Inside the Haunted House, the egg machine sells the brand-new Pumpkin Egg for 850 Skulls! It takes 3 hours to hatch in an incubator, and it can be traded. Here's what's inside:
- 👻 Ghost (Uncommon): 40%
- 🕯️ Candle Kitty (Uncommon): 31%
- 🌾 Scarecrow (Epic): 22%
- 🍬 Candycorn (Legendary): 5%
- 🐦⬛ Raven (Godly): 2%
The collection boards on the walls show every Halloween pet, and the ones you own light up. Can you fill them all? The glowing coin opens the 2x Skulls shop.
🍬 Trick-or-treating
Walk up to any house's front door and choose Trick or Treat, or just say "trick or treat" in chat while you're standing by the door. A treat gives you 5 to 10 Skulls!
Every house has a carved pumpkin on its porch. When it's glowing, that house has treats for you. When it's dark, you've been there recently, so try another house and come back later.
- 😈 Tricks! Sometimes you get a trick instead of a treat: a spider drops on you, a pie hits you in the face, you get a rock, or a ghoul escapes from the house! Tricks don't give Skulls, but you can catch that ghoul!
- 👫 Trick-or-treat groups! Tap another player and choose Add to Trick or Treat Group to invite them. Groups hold up to 5 players, and everyone standing with you joins your visit and gets their own treat.
- 🔔 Ding dong ditch! Ring the doorbell and get out of sight before the door opens. Stay hidden for 4 to 8 Skulls, but get spotted and you'll get a pie in the face!
- 🪣 Pumpkin Pal Pail! Everyone gets a free pail, and it fills up with candy as you go.
👻 Ghoul Hunting
Ghouls are drifting around Pet City! Equip your Ghoul Cannon, aim at a ghoul and hold to beam it in. Ghouls don't make it easy: they run when they see your cannon and try to wriggle away while you're beaming them.
- 🩷 Common: 5 Skulls
- 💚 Uncommon: 8 Skulls. It blinks away when you least expect it!
- 💜 Rare: 10 Skulls. It splits into decoys, so find the real one!
- 🩵 Ultra-Rare: 15 Skulls. It turns invisible and sneaks off!
- 🧡 Legendary: 25 Skulls. It shoves you right back!
Rarer ghouls take longer to beam in. Ultra-Rare and Legendary ghouls like to hide inside bushes and pumpkins, so if you spot one rattling, beam it to flush the ghoul out!
🎃 Pumpkin Carving
Find the carving pumpkin in the Halloween area and choose Carve Pumpkins to start a carving shift. Customers line up with an order: pick the right pumpkin, carve the face they want and spin the color drum to paint it, then serve it up!
A shift lasts 2 minutes, and every pumpkin you serve earns 15 Skulls, up to 300 a shift. At the end, Witch Hazel's Cauldron pays you with a check showing how fast you were and how you compare with everyone else who's carved. Your first shift starts with a quick how-to.
🎣 Halloween fish
Cast a line at the Halloween pond to fish up five spooky new fish. The pond has a pumpkin bobber and its own creepy sounds, and every catch there comes with a spooky surprise. Halloween fish sell for Skulls instead of Gems!
A new way to reel
Reeling in works differently now, everywhere you fish. A circle sweeps back and forth across the bar: tap when it's inside the shadow zone in the middle. Land enough hits before you miss 3 times and the fish is yours! Rarer fish need more hits, and the circle speeds up after every one. Don't miss once for a perfect catch.
🧙 Community Rewards
The Bad Witch has taken over Halloween, and the Good Witch needs your help to stop her! Talk to the Good Witch in the Halloween area to donate your Skulls. Every Skull anyone donates counts toward one goal for the whole community, and the sign beside her shows how close we are.

💀 Skulls
Skulls are the Halloween currency, and you earn them from everything spooky: trick-or-treating, ding dong ditch, ghoul hunting, pumpkin carving and selling Halloween fish. During Halloween, every need you complete for your pet or for yourself gives you 5 Skulls too!
Want even more? Some players can watch a short ad in the Shop for 100 Skulls, up to twice a day. The Shop also has packs of Skulls, 2x Skulls boosts from 15 minutes to 2 hours, and the 2x Skulls pass, which doubles the Skulls you earn from ghoul hunting, trick-or-treating and Halloween fish for the whole Halloween event.
