The wait is over! Pet City is out now in Beta on Roblox. Hatch an egg, raise the pet inside it from a wobbly Newborn to a proud Adult, and build a home worth coming back to. Here's everything waiting for you in the city.

🎁 Welcome gifts
Everyone who joins during the Beta starts with a Frog, an Epic pet you can only get right now, plus a Hoverboard to zip around town on.
Then head into the Pet Store for the tutorial, where you'll pick up a free Starter Egg. It's a coin flip what's inside: a Dog or a Cat, 50/50.
🥚 Hatch your pets
There are five eggs in the city. Past the Starter Egg, the Bronze, Silver, Ruby and Sapphire Eggs can all be bought with Gems, and each step up puts rarer pets within reach.
Place an egg in your incubator and it hatches in 30 minutes. Can't wait? Hatch it instantly, or add an extra incubator slot to hatch more at once.
🐾 Meet the pets
20 pets are waiting at launch, across six rarities. Here's who's who, and where to find them.
🔴 Godly
- Dragon and Flamingo: hatch from the Ruby and Sapphire Eggs. The Dragon can also land on the Pet Prize Wheel!
- Kitsune and Strawberry Cow: in the shop.
🟠 Legendary
- Cow and Peafowl: hatch from every egg from Bronze up.
- Ladybug: reach Gardening level 100.
- Sea Turtle: reach Fishing level 100.
- Unicorn: a VIP pet. Grab it from the shop while you're VIP, or earn one for staying VIP three paid months in a row.
🟣 Epic
- Crocodile, Kangaroo and Zebra: hatch from every egg from Bronze up.
- Dalmatian: in the shop.
- Frog: the Beta welcome gift.
🔵 Rare, 🟢 Uncommon & ⚪ Common
- 🔵 Bunny and Fox: hatch from every egg from Bronze up.
- 🟢 Chick and Goldfish: hatch from the Bronze, Silver and Ruby Eggs.
- ⚪ Dog and Cat: hatch from the Starter, Bronze and Silver Eggs.
❤️ Raise them right
Your pet will let you know what it needs: food, a drink, a nap, a bath, a potty break, or a trip to the Grocery Store or Pet Store. Every job you finish pays out Gems and moves your pet a step closer to growing up.
Pets grow from Newborn → Infant → Junior → Teen → Young Adult → Adult. Rarer pets need more care at every stage, so a Godly takes real dedication. The 2x Pet Aging pass doubles every step if you'd like to speed things along.
✨ Shiny & Ghost pets
Got three of the same Adult pet? Combine them into a Shiny, a brand-new look for your favorite.
Keep caring for an ordinary Adult and every finished task has a 3% chance of turning it into a see-through Ghost. And yes, three matching Ghosts combine into a Shiny Ghost!
🧬 Traits
Every pet comes with one of seven traits: Speedy, Energetic, Greedy, Needy, Angler, Lucky and the super-rare Prodigy, which combines the effects of all the others. Not happy with yours? Spend a Trait Reroll and you're guaranteed something new.
🏡 Make it home
Pick from the Tiny House, the Family House or the Large House, then make it yours with furniture, beds for you and your pets, and bowls to keep them fed. Want the perfect spot on the map? Premium Plots lets you choose exactly where your house goes.
🎣 Fishing
Grab a rod and cast into any water in the city. Seven fish swim in Pet City, from the Common Blue Fish up through the Godly Black Fish to the rarest catch of all, the Mythical Rainbow Fish. Sell your catch for Gems.
Fishing is a skill, and it levels all the way to 100, unlocking perks along the way and a Sea Turtle at the top. The Poseidon Rod in the shop boosts your luck and your XP on every cast.
🌱 Gardening
Plant fruit trees (apple, cherry, pear, plum and peach) and crops (wheat, carrot, potato, corn and watermelon). Everything's ready to harvest in a day. Crops grow back every 12 hours, and fruit trees can be shaken for more every 12 hours too.
Gardening levels up to 100 as well, and the reward at the top is a Ladybug.
🐚 Beachcombing
Stroll the shore and you'll find 20 shells scattered just for you, with a fresh batch every 12 hours. Keep an eye out for Mussels, Snail Shells, Conches, Clams, and the rarest of them all, the Sea Star. Sell them for Gems, or let the Auto Sell pass do it for you.
🌠 Wishing Well & Pet Prize Wheel
Toss a Wish into the Wishing Well and see what comes back: Gems, eggs all the way up to a Sapphire Egg, or even a Ride or Fly Potion. You get a free wish every day.
Caring for your pet earns Paw Badges. Spend 100 on a spin of the Pet Prize Wheel for Gems, Wishes, a Sapphire Egg, or the grand prize: a Dragon!
📅 Log in, level up
Come back each day for your daily login reward: Gems most days, and Wishes on others. Keep your streak going, and don't worry about missing a single day, since there's a grace period before a streak resets.
🛒 Shop & game passes
The shop has the Kitsune, Strawberry Cow and Dalmatian, plus Ride and Fly Potions and the Poseidon Rod. VIP members also get the Unicorn.
